    Adult tickets + kids tickets = 120$

    Y represents kids tickets

    Z represents adult tickets

    Z = twice kids tickets = 2Y

    In ecuation:

    Z + Y = 120$

    Replace Z with 2Y

    2Y + Y = 120 $

    3Y = 120 / divided by 3

    Y = 40$

    You know the cost for 1 kid ticket

    40 : 4 = 10 kids tickets sold

    Z = 2x 40 = 80$ for adult tickets

    80:8 = 10 adult tickets sold
