A rubber ball has a radius of about 2.86 in. Can the ball be packaged in a box shaped like a cube with a volume of 125 in3?

    volume of the ball = 4/3 * PI * r^3 =

    4/3 * 3.14 * 2.86^3 = 97.99 cubic inches

    this is less than the volume of the box, so yes it will fit
