    From the information given, 60% is equivalent to 18.

    We need to find out what 1% is equivalent to, so:

    60 = 18

    1 = x (where x is the value of 1%)

    We now simplify the above equation, so:

    60 * x = 18 * 1 → 60x = 18 → x = 18 / 60 → x = 0.3

    So 1% is equivalent to 0.3

    Therefore 90% will be → 0.3 * 90 = 27

    90% of the number is 27

    X = the missing number.

    60% is the same as 0.6

    0.6x = 18

    Divide 18 by 0.6

    18/0.6 = 30

    18 is 60% of 30.

    To find 90% of 30, multiply 30 by 0.9

    30 * 0.9 = 27
