    If DE is parallel to BC then triangles ABC and ADE are similar. Then their corresponding sides will be in the same ratio:

    AD : AB = AE : AC

    6 : 8 = 7 : 10

    If we want to prove that DE is not parallel to BC:

    6 : 8 ≠ 7 : 10 (Answer: B)
