A map of California is drawn to scale where one inch equals 5 miles. If Rest Stop A and Rest Stop B are one foot apart on the map, how many miles apart are they?

    60 miles because if one inch is 5 miles, one foot is 12 inches, you will multiply 5 by 12 and get 60 miles.
