Patient A receives 3 times the amount of certain medicine as Patient B. The two doses add to 200 milligrams. What amount of the medicine does each patient receive?

    Patient A = 3b

    Patient B = b

    3b + b = 200

    4b = 200

    b = 50

    3 (50) = 150
