A full bottle holds 1/4 gallon of juice. If 3/5 of the juice has been poured out, how much juice is left in the bottle?

    1/4=5/20

    3/5=12/20

    you can't pour 12 out of 5. 5-12 doesn't work.

    1/4-3/5=5/20-12/20=-7/20

    Since you can't have - 7/20 gallons in a bottle, you made a typo when you typed the question/this problem just can't be solved/this is not a real world problem.
