The length of a rectangle is 1 m less than twice the width, and the area of the rectangle is 21 m 2. find the dimensions of the rectangle.

    Obtaining linear equation

    Length = 2x-1

    Breadth=x

    Equations 2x^2-x-21=0

    This will give two values of x 3.5and - 3 taking 3.5 as width

    Finally dimensions will be 3.5 and 6
