The sum of the angles in a triangle equal 180°. ABC is a triangle. Angle A is > 90°. Using deductive reasoning, what can we conclude?

    We know that all triangles have a sum of 180 degree. If one angle of a triangle is greater than 90 degrees than we conclude that:

    1. It is an obtuse triangle

    2. It will have one obtuse angle (greater than 90 and two acute angles (less than 90))

    2. It is not a right triangle (which has one angle of 90 degree)

    3. It is not an equilateral triangle (in which all angles are equal)
