    First find 60% of 145 =

    60% of 45 equals 87.

    Now subtract 87 from 145.

    145 - 87 = 58

    So there were 58 girls.

To get the number of boys in the park, you multiply 145 by. 60.

The number of boys is 87.

To find the number of girls, subtract 145 (the number of the children at the park) from 87 (the number of boys at the park.)

    The answer is 58 girls
