Find x if ac = 12, bc = x+1, dc = 2x, and ec=9

The problem ask to compute or find the value of x if AC=12, BC = X+1, DC = 2X and EC = 9, base on the said data, and in my further calculation about the problem, i came u p with a solution that leads to an answer of X=2. I hope you are satisfied with my answer
