With 44 bales of hay he can feed 110 horses per day.

    Explanation:

The average adult house needs 2/5 bale of hay = 0.4 bales of hay

Amount of bales of hay in horse farm = 44

Number of horses he can fed = Total amount of bays / Average requirement of one horse.

Number of horses he can fed = 44/0.4 = 110 horses.

So, with 44 bales of hay he can feed 110 horses per day.
