    Also assume speed of Car A as x and speed of Car B as y

    Then using distance formula,

    d = 2x

    Similarly for car B, d = 1.5 y

    Also given that

    speed of car B = speed of car A + 15

    y = x+15

    Hence we have 2 x = 1.5 y Or x = 0.75 y

    Substitute in y = x+15 : y = 0.75y+15

    0.25y = 15

    y = 15/0.25 = 60 mph

    Speed of car B = 60 mph
