    How much red paint should be mixed with 20 oz of yellow

    red is the unknown (x) and yellow is 20 ounces

    x/20 = 3/5

    cross multiply

    5x = 60

    divide by 5

    5/5x = 60/5

    x = 12 oz

    answer = 12 oz
