What is the center and radius of a given circle (x+3) ^2 + (y-4) ^2 = 25

    The general form for a circle centered at (a, b) with radius r is

    (x - a) ² + (y - b) ² = r²

    Comparing to our form we have a = - 3, b=4, r²=25 so r=5

    Answer: Center (-3,4) radius 5
