At a baseball game a vender sold a combined total of 188 sodas and hotdogs. The number of hot dogs sold was 30 less that the number of sodas sold. Find the number of sodas sold and the number of hotdogs sold.

    H = s-30

    188 = h+s

    188 = s-30+s

    188 = 2s-30

    218 = 2s

    109 = s

    109-30 = 79

    109 sodas

    79 hot dogs
