Anne bought a necklace for each of her three sisters he paid $7 for each necklace. Suppose she had $9 left. write and solve an equation to find how much money Anne had initially to spend on each sister.

    Well, if she spent $7 for a necklace for 3 people, multiply 7 by 3 and you get 21. If she had 9 dollars left, you add that to 21. 21+9=30. there were 3 sisters, so divide 30 by 3 and you get $10 dollars for each sister.
