    (3 / (2x - 5) + 21) / (8x^2 - 14x - 15) If this is the original equation

    Answer = 3 ((1 / (2x-5)) + 7) / (4x + 3) (2x-5)

    First factor out three from the top 3 (1/2x-5 + 7) / 8x^2 - 14x - 15

    Then Factor the bottom.

    8 * - 15 = - 120

    then two numbers that add up to - 14 but multiply - 120

    this is 6 and - 20

    rewrite the "-14x" as 6x-20x

    3 (1/2x-5 + 7) / 8x^2 + 6x - 20x - 15

    Factor out the common terms in the denominator

    3 (1/2x-5 + 7) / 2x (4x+3) - 5 (4x+3)

    then combine

    3 ((1 / (2x-5)) + 7) / (4x+3) (2x-5)

    If that is the equation/that is the simplified version that you want!

    ps. the only things copied here was the numerator of the equation so I didn't have to type it again T^T
