    One bottle of juice costs $1.25

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Create equations for both scenarios:

    variable j=bottle of juice variable n=nuts

    equation 1: 6j+2n=11.5

    equation 2: 3j+4n=11.75

    Multiply equation 1 by 2 so that 2n becomes 4n in order to stack the equations:

    Subtract the new equation by the second equation

    12j+4n=23

    3j+4n=11.75

    Your N's are eliminated so you are only left with the variable J in which 9j=11.25

    divide by 9

    j = $1.25
