Mark throws a party and puts the names of the 17 friends at the party in a hat to determine who will win a prize. Mark's friend Shauna draws a name from the hat, and the prize will go to the person whose name Shauna draws. Find the probability that Shauna will draw her own name.

    There are 17 names in the hat. Shauna's is one of those 17 names. The probability of Shauna picking her own name is therefore 1/17
