So, Annie travelled = 7 (x+4) and Brian travelled = x

Total hours travel by them is 56.

According to question:

x + 7 (x+4) = 56

x+7x + 28=56

8x=56-28

x=3.5 hours

Therefore, Brian travel for 3.5 hours and Annie travels for the 52.5 hours.
