A light bulb manufacturer randomly tests 1500 bulbs and finds that 2 are defective.

How many defective bulbs would be expected in a shipment of 24,000 bulbs?

A. 32

B. 48

C. 120

D. 750

    The correct answer is 32 because i use my own method for this type of problem i divide 24000 by 1500 and get 16 then i double it and get 32

    So, this is what I did. 24,000 : 1,500 = 16 * 2 = 32 ← That's the answer.
