Jacob is solving the equation 3√3q = 27 for q. His work is shown.

3√3q = 27

√3q = 9

(√3q) ^ = 9^

q = B

What are the correct values for A and B?

    Therefore we have,

    A = 9^

    or, A = 81

    Again it is given that,

    or, 3q = 81.

    therefore we can conclude that B = 27

    So by solving the problem we get the final answer as below:

    A = 81 and B = 27
