Charlie gathers apples pears and plums. The number of apples and plums are 10 partners, there are the same number of apples and pears. How many pieces of fruit could Charlie gather? On both answers given no one mentions the pears: / and 10 partners means 5 apples and 5 plums because 5+5=10 plus 5 pears (10+5=15) 15 fruits. Does that sound right or am I missing something?

Answer: Yes, there is something missing.

Step-by-step explanation: Given that Charlie gathers apples pears and plums. The number of apples and plums are 10 partners, there are the same number of apples and pears.

Since there are 10 partners of apples and plums, so

number of apples = number of plums = 10.

Also, number of apples and number of pears are same, therefore, number of pears = 10.

    Thus, total number of fruits = 10+10+10 = 30.

Hence, Charlie couls gather 30 fruits.

So, this was missing in the calculation.
