    How to do it:

    you have to find out how you found the perimeter of the square, which is 44 feet. To find the perimeter you add up all the sides of the square. (We know that a squares sides are all the same lengths) So you do 44 divided by 4 and it equals 11, which is the measure of the sides of the square. If you take the measure of the sides and find the perimeter you get 44 (11x4=44). Now that you know the measurements of the squares sides, you can find the area. To find the area you do length times width (11x11) which equals 121 square feet.
