An electrical pole breaks at a height of 6m from its base due to a thunderstorm. Its top touches the ground at a distance of 8m from the base of the pole to form a right angled triangle. Find the height of the pole.

    16m because if you use the pythagorean therum the rest of the pole is 10m long, which you add to the base of the pole.
