Paul needs to buy 5/8 pound of peanuts. The scale at the store measures parts of a pound in sixteenth. What measure is equivalent to 5/8 pound?

    5/8 = 10/16

    Since it is measured in 1/16 of a pound. I converted 5/8 to 10/16.

    5 = 10

    Multiplied both top and bottom by 2 to get the 16 as the denominator.
