    If 24 bottles is $6.60

12 bottles is 1/2 of 24. If the ratio is proportional the the cost would also be 1/2.

    1/2 of $6.60 is found by dividing 6.60 by 2; 2 into 6.60 = 3.30

So 12 bottles of water is $3.30.
