    A = 5, b = 8, c = 11.

    By Hero's Formula

    Area = √ (s (s-a) (s-b) (s-c))

    Where s = (a + b + c) / 2

    s = (5 + 8 + 11) / 2 = 24/2 = 12

    s = 12

    Area = √ (s (s-a) (s-b) (s-c))

    = √ (12 (12-5) (12-8) (12-11))

    = √ (12 (7) (4) (1))

    = √336 Use your calculator.

    ≈ 18.33

    Option D.
