    The tv is too big

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Using the Pythagorean theorem

    a^2 + b^2 = c^2

    where a and b are the legs of the triangle and c is the hypotenuse

    We know the diagonal or hypotenuse is 32 and one of the legs is 19.2 so we can find the other leg

    a^2 + 19.2 ^2 = 32 ^2

    a^2 + 368.64 = 1024

    Subtract 368.64 from each side

    a^2 + 368.64-368.64 - 368.64 = 1024-368.64

    a^2 = 655.36

    Take the square root of each side

    sqrt (a^2) = sqrt (655.36)

    a = 25.6

    The dimensions of the space are 20 by 25

    Our TV is 19.2 by 25.6 The TV is too long by (25.6-25=.6) by. 6 inches
