    It would be elimination (C) because 7x and - 7x can be eliminated into 0.

    7x + 5y = 19

    -7x - 2y = - 16

    3y = 3

    3 3

    y = 1

    7x + 5y = 19

    7 (1) + 5y = 19

    7 + 5y = 19

    - 7 - 7

    5y = 12

    5 5

    y = 2.4

    (x, y) = (1, 2.4)

    elimination method

    7x+5y=19

    -7x-2y=-16

    just add them x is eliminated

    3y=3

    y=1

    7 (1) + 5y=19

    5y=19-7

    y=12/5
