A complimentary angle has to add up two angles to equal 90 degrees.

We have one angle which is 43.5 degrees, so all we have to do is subtract 43.5 degrees from 90 degrees to find the missing angle.

90 degrees minus 43.5 degrees is 46.5 degrees.

That means the missing angle is 46.5 degrees.
