A civil engineer creates a scale model of a rectangular park. The model has a width of 8 cm and covers an area of 96 square cm. The actual park is designed to have a width of 72 meters. How many square meters is the actual park?

    72 / 8 = 9

    As the scale of 9 is made for width and length, when we calculate the area it will be multiplied 2 times by 9, so to calculate the real area we have to multiply it 2 times

    96cm² * 9 * 9 = 7776cm²
