Problem page the perimeter of a rectangular garden is 314 feet. if the length of the garden is 95 feet, what is its width?

    P = 2 (L + W)

    P = 314

    L = 95

    314 = 2 (95 + W)

    314 = 190 + 2W

    314 - 190 = 2W

    124 = 2W

    124/2 = W

    62 = W < = = = the width is 62 ft
