Mr. Fitch is looking at putting grass in his right triangular shaped backyard. The hypotenuse of his right triangle is 52 feet and one of the legs is 48 feet. He doesn't know the length of the other leg of the triangle.

    theta = 22.62 degrees

    sin22.62 = x/52

    x = 20

    2. Area of a triangle = 1/2bh

    Area = 1/2 (48) (22)

    Area = 528 square feet
