A slide has an angle of elevation of 25°. It is 60 feet from the end of the slide to the stairway beneath the top of the slide. About how long is the slide?

    Cos 25=0.90631

    cos 25 = (the end of the slide to the stairway beneath the top of the slide) / (length of the slide)

    length of the slide=60/0.90631=66.2

    the length of the slide = 66.2 feet
