Josh plans to make bird houses to sell at a craft fair the sample of wood he uses has an area of 1/5 square foot in weighs 1/2 lb the local hardware store sells the wood only by the square yard there are 9 square feet in 1 square yard

b. if Josh needs three square yards of the woods in all how many pounds of the wood does he need

    weight of 1 square foot sample of wood=1/2*5=5/2 lb
