Your school theater just finished the opening weekend of a play, and they want to figure out how much money they made after expenses. Each ticket sells for $3.50, and they know that selling 200 tickets gives them a profit of $625.

Write an equation that can be used to calculate the profit (p) when they sell any given number of tickets (t)

    Its how much $$ they made minus the money they spent. The difference, or sum, is their profit
