How would I graph 2x+3y=-9

    2x+3y=-9

    slope formula : y = mx+b

    m is the slope. b is the y - intercept.

    Need to change 2x+3y=-9 into slope formula

    3y = - 2x-9

    Divide by 3

    y=-2/3x-3

    Now Graphing:

    1. Do the y - intercept first and then the slope.

    2. Put a dot on the y-axis for - 3

    3. Then the slope.

    4. Count down 2 from - 3.

    5. You will go down to - 5.

    6. Go across three times. Put a dot.

    The line will be straight.
