The chocolate factory is preparing a delivery of valentine's chocolate boxes. In a single container they can fit eight large chocolate boxes or ten small chocolate boxes. They send ninety-six chocolate boxes in one day using more large boxes than small ones. How many containers did they use?

    The shipment of 96 chocolate boxes can be made up of

    ... 16 large boxes in 2 containers + 80 small boxes in 8 containers

    ... 56 large boxes in 7 containers + 40 small boxes in 4 containers

    ... 96 large boxes in 12 containers + 0 small boxes.

    Only the second of these scenarios meets the requirement for more large boxes than small, and a number of containers that is an offered answer:
