Consider the equation below. f (x) = 4x3 + 6x2 - 24x + 3 (a) find the intervals on which f is increasing. (enter your answer using interval notation.)

    With increasing f from the equation stated above, we get

    For increasing

    F (x) > 0 = > 12 x^2 + 12 x - 24 > 0

    ð X^2 + x - 1 > 0

    ð (x + 2) (x - 1) > 0

    ð X € (negative infinity, - 2) union (1, infinity)
