According to the general equation for conditional probability, if P (A∩B) = 3/7 and P (B) = 7/8, what is P (A|B) ?

    The answer is

    P (A|B) = P (A∩B) / P (B)

    so P (A|B) = 3/7 / 7/8=3/8
