    Let's make six boxes. Five go to Rose, and one goes to John.

    R [][][][][]

    J []

    Next, you'd add the amount of boxes to get six.

    Now, divide 300 by 6 to find out how many go into each box.

    300/6 is 50

    This means that Rose has 50 x 5 stickers, and John has 50 stickers

    Therefore, 250-50 is 200

    Lets say that John has x stickers, that means Rose has 5x stickers.

    Therefore x+5x=300

    6x=300

    x=50

    Rose has 250 stickers and John has 50 stickers.

    Difference:

    250-50=200

    200 Stickers
