    Well, your probably gonna not go with 30,000 because it stands out like a sore thumb. and 4% is = to. 04 So that would be my likely guestimation. 1.04 is probably the answer. in high school you would do 30,000 (1+.04/1

    ) ^1*1

    and if you were to simplify

    30,000 (1+.04)

    or

    30,000 (1.04)

    So i would say 1.04 is the answer
