There are six sides on a dice.

If it is going to roll greater than 2, then it will be either a 3, 4, 5, or 6.

This is four out of the six sides.

    Therefore the fraction is 4/6.

It can be reduced to 2/3.

There is 6 options! So greater than 2 means 3,4,5, and 6. These are 4 numbers out of the 6. That make 4/6. You can simplify this by dividing by 2: 2/3 is your answer
