    To find the median all you do is put the numbers from least to greatest. Then if there is a odd number then the median is the number in the middle of the data. If there is not an odd number (like in this problem. Then you find what is in between the two numbers:

    154, 205, 244, 253, 254, 263, 274, 276, 389, 431 (least to greatest)

    254, 263 are the numbers in the middle. Now what we do is find the number in between both of them. Which is 258.5

    255,566, 257, 258, 258, 258.5

    262, 261, 260, 259, 258, 258.5
