The length of one leg of a right triangle is 9 meters. the lengths of the other two sides are consecutive integer numbers of meters. what is the number of meters in the perimeter of the triangle?

    using the Pythagorean theorem, 9²+x² = (x+1) ²

    81+x²=x²+2x+1

    2x=80

    x=40

    the hypotenuse is 41+1=41

    peremeter: 41+40+9=90
