    The number is 24

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let x and y be the 2 digits.

    Note that because x and y are integers and the original number is a multiple of 3 and 4, it must also be a multiple of 12.

    So by trial and error:-

    Let the number be 12:-

    x + y = 3 and 4 * 3 = 12 so this fits the first condition.

    x * y = 2 and 3 * 2 = 6. This does not fit.

    Let the number be 24:-

    xy = 24, x + y = 6 and 4*6 = 24. This fits.

    x*y = 8 and x*y = 24 This fits.

    The answer is 24
