I need an equation from this question so I can graph and solve by substitution and elimination. The question the following,

Stefan's school is selling tickets to annual dance competition. on the first day of tickets sales the school sold 16 adult tickets and 3 child tickets for a total of $251. The school took in $148 on the second day by selling 8 adult tickets and 4 child tickets. Find the price of an adult ticket and the price of child ticket.

    16x+3y=251 and 8x+4y=148 then you set them up to each other and cancel one coefficient through elimination or find out what X or Y equals and substitute into either equation
