    We have to find the probability that one randomly selected card has a number less than 4 or a multiple of 9. There are numbers : 1 - 25. Numbers less than 4 are: 1, 2, and 3. Multiples of 9 that are less than 25 are : 9 (9 * 1) and 18 (9 * 2). So there are 5 favourable outcomes and 25 possible outcomes. The probability is: P (A) = (number of favourable outcomes) / (number of possible outcomes) = 5 / 25 = 1 / 5 = 0.2. Answer: The probability is 0.2 or 20 %.
